Evaluations

The passive earmuff model PROFI II Basis from MePaBlu is especially suitable for the professional user with high noise exposure (impulse noise), such as police and military shooting trainers and trained persons with high shooting exposure. It has outstanding attenuation performance up to 45 DB at peak and super-fast response time of only 4 - 7 µsec. The super-fast shutdown times ensure that continued listening is possible during the gunshot blast and echo without it becoming too loud. The shot bang is regulated to below 82 db(A), while the rest of the ambient noise can still be heard with 10x amplification, so communication is ensured even during impulse noise. A conversation or instruction is not interrupted by the shutdown. The outstanding attenuation together with the patented original MePaBlu SoftGel® ear pads provide maximum hearing protection. MePaBlu's SoftGel® ear cushions offer maximum adaptation to the head shape and a high level of wearing comfort, even after hours. Due to the double seal, the SoftGel® ear pads are particularly suitable for spectacle wearers.

The features of the TARGET de Luxe model are 5 different program procedures:

1. Program for the shooting stand:

- with 10-fold amplification

- with long cut-off time (echoes and the sounds of

2. Program outdoor – low for the hunting district:

- with 10-fold amplification

- the external microphone can be connected

  with short cut-off time,

- to hear the flying bullets, e.a. under hunt conditions

3. Program outdoor – high for the raised hide:

- with 30-fold amplification

- the external microphone can be connected

- with short cut-off time

4. Program flash light:

- with red LED light

- otherwise like Program 2

5. Program automatic cut-off:

- after approx. 4 hours
